Contract Award: Joint Command Decision Support for the 21st Century

Nov 15, 2007

Prolity is pleased to announce that we are part of a team led by DMR Consulting (the Quebec division of Fujitsu Consulting) that has been awarded a contract by Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) Valcartier to conduct the Joint Command Decision Support for the 21st Century (JCDS 21) project.  Initially slated to last 18 months, the JCDS 21 project could be extended for two additional years for a potential total value of up to C$10 million.

The goal of the JCDS 21 project, part of DRDC's Technology Demonstration Program, is to support the development of a joint net-enabled, collaborative environment to achieve decision superiority in complex domestic operations within a joint, interagency, multinational and public  (JIMP) framework.

This environment will make it possible to satisfy situation analysis, intelligence, visualization and operations management requirements and will support activities in the field.  Prolity brings to the team our extensive and credible experience with contemporary operations and our knowledge and skills in the C4ISR system modeling, business and technical domains.

DMR Consulting, the Quebec division of Fujitsu Consulting, will act as prime on this project. Prolity will be working with DMR Consulting and its other partners, Lockheed Martin Canada, IBM Canada, CAE, xwave and NSim Technology, to help DRDC deliver the required solutions and set up an environment for testing concepts, strategies and technologies.
